Power engineers from Labinsk branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) have prepared substations ‘Besleneevskaya’, ‘Krasny Kut’, ‘Kostromskaya’ and ‘Promyshlennaya” for winter.

These substations keep lights on for homes in several settlements in Mostovskoy district, includes the most remote villages: Uzlovoye, Bugunzha, Kizinka, Bagovskaya.

Our engineers have repaired oil circuit breakers, disconnectors, and instrument transformers; carried out drying and refining of transformer oil and replaced outdated and aged equipment with the modern one.

Yury Kaverznev, director Labinsk branch of Kubanenergo, said: “Winter is a challenge for all utility providers and electric power sector is not an exception. At times weather can be unpredictable, it’s a strength test for equipment and we should be ready for any emergencies. Timely and properly performed repair in summer helps minimize disruptions in network during winter season.”

We would like to remind that the preparation of grid facilities for operation during autumn-winter season 2018-2019 will be discussed at the Russian Meeting of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, which is taking place within the frameworks of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” (REW). The participants of the business programme of the forum are the management and specialists of the technical departments of Rosseti PJSC, Kubanenergo PJSC, and other subsidiaries of Rosseti Group. The forum will be held October 3-6, 2018 in Moscow at the Moscow Manege. It will demonstrate the achievements and prospects of the Russian fuel and energy industry and unlock the potential of international cooperation in energy sector. The REW will serve as a platform for discussion of the main challenges faced the energy sector and issues related to introduction, operation and prospects for the development of self-controlled and self-diagnosed digital electrical networks.
