Power engineers from Timashevsk branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) have overhauled high-voltage 110 kV line ‘Bryukhovetskaya - Medvedovskaya’ in Bryukhovetsky and Timashevsky districts. In preparation for the autumn-winter period, our engineers have replaced 1700 insulators on the power line of a total length of more than 50 km, cleared power line’s right-of-ways from trees and shrubs, installed bird deterrents in places of mass nesting of birds.
Power line ‘Bryukhovetskaya - Medvedovskaya’ keeps lights on for more than nine thousand consumers in three settlements of Timashevsky district, ensures reliable supply for operation of several agriculture facilities and process industries in Bryukhovetsky and Timashevsky districts, and serves as a backup source of electricity for 110 KV substation ‘Kalininskaya’ in Kalininsky district.
Oleg Danilenko, head of line services team at Timashevsk branch, said: “Uninterrupted power supply and quality of electricity relies a lot on the state of pylons, wires, and insulators of power lines. Our specialists are constantly monitor the state of equipment and take technical measures if necessary to make sure our network continues to deliver reliable supply especially during autumn-winter season.” |
We would like to remind that the preparation of grid facilities for operation during autumn-winter season 2018-2019 will be discussed at the Russian Meeting of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, which is taking place within the frameworks of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” (REW). The participants of the business programme of the forum are the management and specialists of the technical departments of Rosseti PJSC, Kubanenergo PJSC, and other subsidiaries of Rosseti Group. The forum will be held October 3-6, 2018 in Moscow at the Moscow Manege. It will demonstrate the achievements and prospects of the Russian fuel and energy industry and unlock the potential of international cooperation in energy sector. The REW will serve as a platform for discussion of the main challenges faced the energy sector and issues related to introduction, operation and prospects for the development of self-controlled and self-diagnosed digital electrical networks.
