At the regional stage of the Russian Contest for the Media, Energy Sector Press Services, and Regional Administrations MEdiaTEK-2018, PR projects of Kubanenergo took first place in the nominations “Best Press Service of the Regional Energy Company”, “Popularization of the Fuel and Energy Industry Professions”, and “Safe energy”."
The regional stage of the competition was held under the auspices of the “Agency TEK” together with the Ministry of Fuel and Energy Complex and Housing and Communal Services of Krasnodar Region. The regional contest committee included representatives of state authorities, experts in the field of fuel and energy complex, public relations and journalism. In 2018, the regional stage of the contest received more than 20 applications from the press services of the companies of the fuel and energy complex and regional media. Among them 12 participants and 17 projects took winning places; these projects were aimed at creation of information policy in the fuel and energy sector of the region.
For this contest Kubanenergo presented its projects: “Student Apprenticeship Brigades of Kubanenergo: Revival of Traditions”, “Let the Electricity Serve for Good”, as well as a project for nomination “The Best Press Service of the Regional Company of the Fuel and Energy Complex”, which took the first place in this nomination.
The awarding ceremony will take place on September 15, 2018 at the Theater Square in Krasnodar within the framework of the Russian Festival of Energy Saving #BrighterTogether.
The next stage of the contest will be the federal level, where the projects will be judged by the managers of the largest federal business media, media departments of Russian higher education institutions, representatives of government bodies, experts in the fuel and energy complex headed by Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian President.
The main objective of the competition is to provoke the interest of media representatives in the activities of energy companies and professions in the sphere of power industry, as well as find among PR departments of energy companies the best practices in informing the public and in development of fuel and energy complex.
