Power equipment and specialized machinery of Russian manufacturers showcased at WorldSkills Championship in Krasnodar

The exhibition of Russian manufacturers of power equipment and machinery has been opened at the venue of ‘Young Professionals’, a Rosseti’s open corporate championship of professional skills held under the WorldSkills methodology taking place on 6-9 August at the training ground of the Power Engineering Institute of Advanced Training of Kubanenergo in Krasnodar.

The equipment and new technologies were presented by the following companies: Elektropribor, DEP, Tavrida Electric YuSK, Electric plants ‘Energomera’, Megger, Solar center, Chaika-Service, Rostverk.

Many of these Russian manufacturers have long-term experience in cooperation with Kubanenergo PJSC and other companies of Rosseti Group across Russia.

Manufacturers showcased their state of the art equipment, innovative solutions and current developments, protection equipment and special equipment for the needs of the country’s power network.

 “Our company works with industrial enterprises across Russia, we have been cooperating with Kubanenergo for many years. Today, at the business programme of the championship, we presented modern microprocessor equipment of relay protection and automation, which we produce for power industry as well as mining. In addition, our automation and telemechanic systems are used at a number of substations in Anapa district, Sochi, Krasnodar, and Taman.”

“We represent modern mobile electrotechnical laboratories at the exhibition of power equipment. All our laboratories are built according to the latest technologies; our newest models have expanded the functionality: there are installations that test cables with XLPE insulation. The company supplies test and diagnostic equipment and mobile laboratories to Kubanenergo – our long running partner, with which we’ve been cooperating for nearly 20 years,” said Alexei Izotov, the commercial director of the company “Megger”.

The exhibition for the first two days of the championship was attended by more than a hundred people: heads and technical specialists of the participating teams, students of educational institutions of Krasnodar region, guests of the competitions. The exhibition ends on August 10.
