During the business trip to Sochi, Alexander Pyatigor, acting Director General of Rosseti PJSC, has checked how Sochi branch is implementing a project on installation of automated metering devices in Krasyana Polyana. He has also conducted a meeting on services rendering and reduction of losses.
In March 2018, Pavel Livinsky, Director General of Rosseti PJSC, set a task for Kubanenergo to reduce electricity losses and reach an acceptable level of losses. Kubanenergo officials reported about the reached indicators by the results of the current year.
At the meeting, Kubanenergo was instructed to finalize the programme of measures on reduction of electricity losses 2018-2022, as well as to assess economic and financial indicators. Among the main activities of the programme are: organization of electricity metering, 100% network automation, revealing of uncountable and non-contractual consumption of electricity, implementation of Rosseti’s standards in handling the loss of electricity and staff motivation.
According to specialists from Kubanenergo, reconstruction of 0.4/6-10 kV network, attraction of alternative sources of financing to the investment programme, attraction of long-term investments, as well as the implementation of energy service contracts that have already proved effective, would help solve this problem dramatically.
“Be the results of 2017, the effect of the implementation of energy service contracts aimed at reducing actual electricity losses amounted to 128 million kWh, which contributed to compliance with the established standard,” specified Edgar Armaganian. |
The meeting was attended by Alexei Rakov, Head of Department for Electricity Accounting and Interaction with the Electricity Market Participants, Rosseti PJSC; Edgar Armaganyan, First Deputy General Director – Director of the branch of Kubanenergo PJSC – Sochi Power Networks; Oleg Nishchuk, Deputy Director General of Kubanenergo for Selling of Services; heads of units responsible for sale of services and electricity metering at Kubanenergo. All the directors of the branches and heads of the electric power network districts of Kubanenergo also participated in the meeting via videoconferencing.
