Five substations in Adygea power district are ready to peak demand

Engineers of Adygea branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) have repaired and prepared five big substations in Belorechenskiy and Maikopskiy districts and Maikop to summer peak demand.

Specialists have checked and repaired elements of substation equipment: transformers, switchers, busbar sections, etc.

Repaired 35 kV substations ‘Pshekhskaya’ and ‘Ryazanskaya-2’ in Belorechenskiy district of the Krasnodar region keep lights on for homes and businesses in Pshekhskaya and Ryazanskaya villages.

Our specialists repaired equipment of the three biggest 110 kV substations in Maikop and Maikop district of Adygea: ‘Khadzhokh’, ‘Cheryomushki’, and ‘Severnaya’”.

‘Khadzhokh’ substation is a source of power supply in Maikop district, centre of alpine tourism of Adygea, where touristic and recreation facilities, as well as huge industrial manufacturers are located. ‘Cheryomushki’ and ‘Severnaya’ substations supply with electric energy residential and industrial customers in Maikop.

‘Implementation of repair programme is still going on. We are clearing right-of-ways of transmissions lines in mountain areas and distribution lines in villages and cities from vegetation and trees, repair distribution equipment. Repair campaign is aimed to increase reliability of power grid in the period of summer and winter peak demand,’ said Yuri Khomichenko, director of Adygea power networks.
