As a part of Repair Campaign, specialists from Ust-Labinsk branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) have cleared 4 hectares of right-of-ways of power lines from trees and vegetation in Korenovskiy district of Krasnodar region.

Our specialists choose for each sector of power lines the most suitable methods of clearing. Usually, they use brush-cutting machines, petrol driven chainsaws and sometimes they use aerial work platform for work at height. If the distance between the wires and tree branches that need to be cut off is less than 2 meters, the specialists have to disconnect the sector from power supply.

‘Broken trees and dead branches that hit or fall on power lines cause power interruptions and outages leaving customers without power supply and pose a danger to anyone who is nearby. Timely trimming and clearing around power lines helps minimize power interruptions during bad weather and reduce amounts of accidents. We pay special attention to 35kV lines as they are the main through passage that delivers electricity to customers,’ said Mikhail Suvorov, head of Ust-Labinskiy branch.
