Dmitry Medvedev has held a meeting on creation in Russia of digital grid by 2030 that will be based on technologies and equipment of domestic production in pursuance of the Order of Vladimir Putin the President of the Russian Federation on digitization of the country’s power industry.

Implementation of this project presupposes creation of joint venture Rostec – Rosseti that will provide conditions necessary for creation of smart grid in Russia.

Dmitry Medvedev instructed the relevant ministries and departments to elaborate together with stakeholders the form and volume of investments from State Corporation Rostec in Rosseti PJSC for implementation of this project.
