Since the beginning of the year, the specialists from Adygea branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) have installed 2118 smart energy metering devices in four districts of the Republic.
The new generation devices are installed at transmission towers to record data on electric energy consumption and transfer it to operator. This information is available for consumers as well – they can find it on their display.
Modern metering devices, that are installed as part of energy service agreement, are useful for customers: they record and estimate the day time and night time consumption, thus helping them save money and electricity. Installation of such devices for customers of Kubanenergo is free.
When installing smart metering devices, our specialists will also replace service drop wires with self-supporting insulated wire. Using this wire provides qualitative power supply regardless of weather conditions and excludes possibility of unauthorized connections. Moreover, “hunters” for non-ferrous metal are not interested in this type of wire.
- Currently, there are 21 thousand smart metering devices installed in branch’s area of responsibility. Owners of smart devices are free from visits of inspectors because all information from consumers’ devices is transferred to main server of the Company, - said Yuri Khomichenko, director of Adygea power networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC.
