Timashevsk branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) started a gradual replacement of power transformers at 35 kV substation “Kanevskaya”.

Engineers will replace power transformer to increase capacity of the substation. It will provide reliable power supply to customers and cover increasing loads and needs of industrial facilities in the village. They have dismantled old transformer and now are installing the new oil receiver.

Substation “Kanevskaya” (built in 1969) keeps lights on for more than 18 thousand citizens in Kanevskaya village, several big industrial facilities, and ten thousand infrastructure and social facilities.

- Over the last years, the load on substation has increased critically because of the growth of electric energy consumption. To tackle this problem, it was decided to replace transformers and increase their capacity from 6.3 MWA to 10 MVA. After reconstruction the substation will have the necessary capacity and increase power efficiency in this region, - said Sergei Sobolev, director of Timashevskiye power networks.

Upgrade of power facilities, carried out as part of new technical policy of parent company Rosseti PJSC is part of Kubanenergo PJSC activity aimed to increase reliability and quality of power supply to residential and industrial sectors in the Company’s area of responsibility.
