Engineers from the Ust-Labinsk branch of Kubanenergo PJSC  (Rosseti Group) will upgrade relay protection and automatic equipment at five substations in Ust-Labinsk district.

Specialists from the Ust-Labinsk branch will install modern protection relay and automation equipment at 35kV substations “Dyadkovskaya”, “Peschanaya”, “Zhurovskaya-2”, “Gazyr”, and “Bezlesnaya” over the course of this year. These power facilities provide electricity to several social, dozens of infrastructure and agricultural facilities.

Our engineers will install modern protection devices, which allows instantly shutting down the substation equipment, if necessary, and thereby keeping it from thermal breakdown. The new quick-response system is equipped with sensitive sensors that react to radiation caused by a short circuit in two centiseconds.

“This project will allow power engineers to protect equipment of these substations, prevent possible technological disturbances and ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to industrial, agricultural and public facilities," said Yury Shhashok, the head of substation service of the Ust-Labinsk electric grids.
