At the business programme of the Russian Investment Forum-2018 in Sochi Alexander Gavrilov, Director General of Kubanenergo, spoke with journalists about the Company’s plans on digitalization of the network.
Rosseti is heading towards digitization of network. This new policy of Rosseti was set by Pavel Livinisky, Director General. This new trend was voiced at the discussion platform “Territory of Rosseti”, which was opened for the first time at the Forum. Transition to a new system of grid management is driven by necessity to enter a new era, the digital era. Rosseti sets ambitious goal to create digital energy network that will be as efficient as possible and will exceed international standards.
According to Alexander Gavrilov, the programme of future development of Kubanenergo presupposes several innovative projects for completion over the coming years. Among which: “smart” substations on the base of 110kV substation “Tuapse-town” planned for 2020. Having gained experience in construction of a “smart” substation, the Company will be able to reduce the time and cost of designing and constructing such substations.
Thus, in Sevresky district the Coampny will upgrade the network by introducing elements of digital network – “smart” switching devices (automatic circuit reclosers).
Alexander Gavrilov shared the news with the journalists at the RIF-2048: “We keep on installing fiber optic communication lines. In the short-run we plan to construct new digital substation in Sochi district. Such projects will help us manage the process, distribute the power from peak demand to minimal, reduce time for restoring power supply during power system disturbances and reduce undersupply of energy.” |
