As part of investment programme Labinsky branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) is upgrading relay protection and automation devices of a large substation in Kurganinsky district: 110kV “Rodnikovskaya” substation. Power engineers will install modern digital protection relay and automation for 110kV outgoing power line. The Company will invest 27 million rubles in this project.

Among the distinct advantages of microprocessor devices, we can emphasise their close-together arrangement. Apart from their primary task, elimination of emergencies, the new devices offer a range of additional functions, namely: detection of emergency situations as well as indication of the place of the damage on power line; distant backup protection and higher reliability in comparison to electromechanical equipment. Installation of the new equipment is planned for the 4th quarter of this year.
