Crews from Armavir branch of Kubanenergo PJSC have installed modern  SF6-insulated equipment at 66MVA substation “Rechnaya”.

The new equipment has successfully passed high voltage tests and is commissioned. Unlike oil circuit breakers, SF6 prototypes are safer, environmentally friendly, easy to maintain and reliable in operation.

“Upgrade of the substation will the reliability of the “Sengileevskaya – Zabaikalovskaya – Rechnaya – Armavirskaya CHP” power line and improve the quality of power supply in Armavir," said Rustam Magdeyev, director of Armavir electric networks.

The 110kV substation “Rechanaya” is a key source of electricity for more than 40 000 household users and 15 public facilities, including urban waterworks, public health facilities, communication facilities, etc.
