Employees from Kubanenergo took part in Chess Competition in Memory of M. Botvinnik

Team of  Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) consisting of employees from Krasnodar, Sochi, Adygea and Leningradskaya branches of the Company, have participated in Chess Competition in Memory of M. Botvinnik that was held in Moscow on November, 24. Thirty-three teams from power industry took part in the competition. In the overall standing the team of Kubanenergo was the seventh.

The competition gathered amateurs, international masters, FIDE masters, masters and candidate masters, owners of athletic titles.

Guests of the tournament were Yan Nepomnyaschiy and Valentina Gunina, famous chess players and also Mark Glukhovskiy, executive director of Russian Chess Federation.

“Perfect organization of event and referring. Competition of FGC UES in memory of M.M. Botvinnik is held since 2011. Participation in it allows us to use and show skills in the beloved game,” says Ruslan Nezamyatin, master of 35 kV and higher network service from Sochi electric networks and the head of Kubanenergo team.

IDGC of Siberia became the winners of the competition, IDGC of Volga region came the second and Moscow Power Engineering Institute team took the third place.
