Specialists from Timashevskiye electric networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) have installed new power line fault detectors on 35kV transmission lines  in Bryukhovetsky district.

This equipment is meant to detect promptly a sector on a power line with a short circuit fault. The detectors installed directly on power lines trace the current flow and activate LED indication (give a signal) warning about the fault in sector. These devices are precise in place of fault, thanks to this they save time on recovery works.

The indicators are visible at night as well during the daytime, which means crews spend less time searching for the fault in power line. This makes repair works easier for the specialists.

Such equipment is being installed by other branches of Kubanenergo as well.
