A two-day seminar have taken place at the Power Engineering Institute of Advanced Training of Kubanenergo PJSC. It addressed modern technical solutions in creation of 0.4-10kV distribution network when connecting new consumers. The event was attended by almost 30 specialists from power companies.
The participants were particularly interested in software solution for calculation of technical losses on power lines of 6-10kV in networks of Kubanenergo, which is meant to redistribute loads in 6-10kV networks and reduce electricity losses.
They also discussed the possibility of introducing in educational process a 3D computer simulator for students of the Power Institute.
Theoretical and practical lessons on application of modern equipment were conducted by representatives of manufacturing companies.
“Our partners have showed us various innovative solutions for connection of new consumers. Ensto Rus introduced network automation products and solutions for improvement of quality of electric energy in 0.4kV networks. Megger Ltd. spoke about electrical test equipment; LMPZ – about manufacturing treated wood poles; EZOIS Yug reported on production of transformers and distribution units”, said Anatoliy Kurkaev, deputy principal for development of the Power Engineering Institute of Advanced Training of Kubanenergo PJSC.
Summarizing the seminar, Evgeniy Rud, institute principal, stressed the importance of such events for effective co-operation and introduction of state-of-the-art technology.
