Branch of Kubanenergo (Rosseti Group) from Ust-Labinsk have completed an overhaul of 140 kilometres of 10-0.4kV overhead lines. The repair project was conducted on the territory of Vyselkovsky, Tbilissky and Ust-Labinsky disteicts of the Krasnodar region.
In total, power engineers replaced 132 pylons of 0.4-10 kV lines and installed transformers of higher capacity at seven substations of the distribution grids. The specialists of the branch replaced about five kilometers of uninsulated wire with the self-supporting insulated conductor, which provides greater reliability and safety in operation.
Mikhail Suvorov, director of Ust-Labinskiye electric networks, said: “Major overhaul of the line contributes to its sustainable functioning, as well as provides reliable power supply for more than 30 thousand people and several socially important facilities in the settlements, including schools, nursery schools, water supply and communication facilities.”
The repair of distribution power equipment contributes to significant increase in stability and reliability of electricity supply, as well as reduces probability of power system disturbance in low voltage networks.
