Yuriy Polyakov, acting major of Anapa, and Dmitriy Golovakha, director of Southwestern power networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) have conducted a working meeting that addressed issues of reliability of electricity supply to suburb of Anapa.
Yuriy Polyakov drew attention to certain problems with electricity supply in some sentiments of the district and asked the power industry specialists to comment on the situation.
Dmitriy Golovakha, director of Southwestern power networks, stressed that the guarantee of uninterrupted and reliable power supply is timely implementation of repair and investments programmes, and Kubanenergo ensures quality and timely implementation of its activities. Oftentimes, disturbances occurred because of improper maintenance of electricity facilities that are in private ownership of territorial grid operators.
Kubanenergo PJSC is the largest but not the single grid company that distributes and transfers electricity on the territory of the Krasnodar region. Currently, there are 49 more territorial grid operators that are owners of grid facilities and are responsible for their operation.
“There is much concern about Vityazevo village. Two cable lines that deliver electricity to the central part of the village are owned and maintained by a private organization that does not provide proper maintenance and does not upgrade its networks. We are ready to deal with this problem together with the municipal government and even with the law-enforcement agencies. The cause of almost 90% of power cuts lies in faults in the privately owned networks that are not in operational responsibility of Kubanenergo”, said Dmitriy Golovakha.
At the end of the meeting, the parties outlined areas for further effective cooperation in the issues of high-quality power supply for the residents of the district.
