Adygeiskiye electric networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC  (Rosseti group) started overhaul of high voltage substation “Kuzhorskaya” in Maikopskiy disctst, Adygya. The project will cost 1.57 million rubles.

Substation “Kuzhorksya” keep lights on for over three thousand people and business, including livestock farms, creamery, woodworking shops and other facilities in five settlements of the district: Kuzhorskaya, Oktyabrskiy, Karmir-Astkh and Tryokhrechniy villages.

Power engineers will perform technical maintenance of the facility and repair 167 units of substation equipment, including transformers, switches and other elements, as well as drying and cleaning of transformer oil.

Yury Khomichenko, director of Adygeiskiye electric networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC, said: ”We have already prepared local substation “Tulskaya” for peak demand period, cleared right-of-ways of two high-voltage lines 35 kV “Dakhovskaya – Khamyshki” and “Khamyshki – Guzeripl”. Uninterrupted power supply to tourist and recreational infrastructure of the picturesque places of mountain Adygea depends on reliable operation of these power lines. Considerable attention was paid to repairing of distribution equipment: transformer substations and power transmission lines.”
