Adygea power networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group), started the installation of 800 electricity metering devices “MIR” with remote data collection in village Khodz, Koshekhablskiy district of Republic of Adygea.
Electricity metering devices are installed at pylons of overhead lines at point of connecting of customer to electric network. Power engineers also install new additional lines for houses, they use more efficient and safety self-supporting insulated wire. They also maintain, repair and replace damaged and outdated elements of equipment of transformer substations, distributing equipment, overhead power lines of the settlement.
The new-generation metering devices have a number of economic and technical advantages. They are very accurate and have functions of remote data transfer on energy usage and automatic cut-off of consumer in case of exceedance of power consumption and debts for electric energy.
Electricity metering devices terminate the possibility of unauthorized tempering. In some instances, devices can prevent fire caused by short-circuit because they control “creep points” and shut-off power supply if situation becomes dangerous.
– The advantages from “smart” metering devices are evident. The Company’s power engineers install devices for free. Modern accounting system allows to use new multitariff calculation, thus the customer can pay less for electric energy. All these actions will help consumers save their money, – said Yuri Khomichenko, director of Adygea networks.
