During the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) took additional actions and provided reliable power supply of Sochi infrastructure facilities within service area of the Company.

Sochi power grids branch operated in high alert regime during the competition. The Company organized continuous duty of staff at power facilities within Kubanenergo PJSC  service area, as well as field service and maintenance teams. Additional power reserve was provided by diesel generators.

An unscheduled inspection of feeding lines and transformer substations was carried out, an additional briefings and technical staff training were conducted. The Company permanently cooperated with organizers of the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix, municipal administration, law enforcement agencies, regional branches of civil defense and emergency situations agencies.

The 4th Formula 1 Russian Grand was held at Sochi Autodrom from 28 April to 1 May. This year more than 150 thousand spectators attended auto racing. Besides the races, spectators also enjoyed concerts and entertainment shows that were held mostly in the Sochi Olympic Park. Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, visited Olympic Games host city on the race days. Dmitriy Kozak, deputy Prime Minister of Russia and Veniamin Kondratiev, the governor of Krasnodar region also attended the competition.
