Adygeiskiye electric networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group), have started the overhaul of 35 kV substation “Kombizavod” in Giaginsky district of the Republic of Adygea. Engineers will perform maintenance of 334 units of substation equipment. The expenses for repair of power facility will amount 0.8 million rubles.

“Kombizavod” substation keeps the lights on for more than 4000 customers in villages Giaginskaya and Kelermesskaya. The substation is also a feeding centre for several agricultural and manufacturing plants of the district, for example, “Arkhont-Service”, “U-Best”, etc.

Yuri Khomichenko, director of Adygeiskiye electric networks, said: “It is crucial for us to repair the power equipment before the start of harvesting works. Thus, we will increase the reliability of power facility before summer peak demand. Within the year we also will perform the repair of seven overhead power lines of total length 23 km, seven transformer substations, dispatcher switchboard of local power grids.”
