Kubanenergo prepares substations of Azov district to summer season

Employees of Leningradskiy branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) started repair of three important for the district substations in Yeiskiy and Scherbinovskiy districts of the region. All works will be performed under the Repair Programme.

The branch plans to overhaul 35kV substation “Dolzhanskaya”, replace old equipment with modern and more environmentally friendly at 110kV and 35kV substations “Scherbinovskiy grain farm” and “Glafirovskaya” respectively. These substations keep lights on for about 38 thousands customers and six public facilities.

Roman Sheblakov, director of Leningraskiye electric networks, branch of Kubanenergo, said: “The region is also a resort area, so we need to ensure we provide reliable and uninterrupted power supply. In 2016 about 15.8 million tourists visited the Krasnodar region, this year we expect increase in the number of tourists and our goal is to make sure that nothing will spoil their vacation time.”

The Repair Programme of Leningraskiye electric networks presupposes repair of nine substations of 35-110kV in 2017.
