works on 35 km power line “RNIITIM – Kubanskaya Tygovaya”. This line is a backup source of electricity supply for more than 30 thousand customers – almost all consumers in Novokubansk.

Engineers replaced metal poles at the place of overhead line crossing the railroad tracks, installed 1.5 km of new wire and ground wire, 30 sets of line accessories, replaced about 140 outdated and worn out insulators with new analogues made of glass having a high resistance to environmental influences, repaired ground elements of foundations, updated signs on dispatch offices and safety signs.

They have also trimmed and cut vegetation around power lines to ensure it does not disturb stable operation of the line.

Rustam Magdeyev, director of the Armavir branch of Kubanenergo, commented: “The overhaul of power lines contributes to its stable functioning, and thus ensures reliable power supply for more than 30 thousand people and 42 social facilities of the town, including schools, nursery schools, water supply and communication facilities.”

In 2016 Armavir branch of Kubanenergo have repaired over 460 km of high voltage power lines in Kavkazskiy, Novokubanskiy, Otradnenskiy, Uspenskiy, Gulkevichskiy districts and suburbs of Armavir.
