To increase the reliability of customers of Anapskiy and Krymskiy districts, specialists of South-Western branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) carried out thermographic inspection of “Varenikovskaya – Dzhiginskaya” 110 kV high-voltage line  of about 30 km total length.

The teams inspected the power line that provides more than 27 thousand consumers, about 35 social objects and three big enterprises of Anapskiy and Krymskiy districts.

The thermographic inspection provides early detection of defects. It allows to prevent breakdowns and equipment damage, decrease service charges. – noted Grigoriy Chitay, head of line service of South-Western branch of Kubanenergo.

Using of thermographic inspection is based on that some types of defects of high-voltage equipment lead to changing of temperature of defective elements, and thus, the changing of intensity of infrared radiation that can be detected by thermographic devices.
