In the beginning of the school year, employees of Kubanenergo PJSC branch South-Western electric networks (Rosseti group) reminded schoolchildren the rules of behavior near electric facilities – transformer substations and power lines.

In the first days of school year, power industry specialists visited 11 schools and gave 16 lessons in the area of branch responsibility (Abinsky, Krymsky, Novorossiysky and Gelendzhiksky districts). In total they conducted lessons for 500 students. Specialists told children about the danger of electricity, demonstrated films and videos, gave printed materials about electrical safety.

- Today I’ve learned where electricity comes from, and why we shouldn’t play near power lines. It was interesting to find out about electric engineers work, we also saw the clothes the engineers wear at work, - told Anton Rybnikov, 9, school No. 24 in Raevskaya village.

Power industry specialists are sure that these lessons will help children to avoid accidents and teach them to be careful.

- Such lessons is an old tradition of the branch. During the year employees conduct a lot of informational events, where they describe the fundamentals of electrical safety, - noted Dmitriy Golovakha, Director of South-Western branch of Kubanenergo.
