Engineers are preparing facilities of the South-Western distribution zone for winter

To make sure the grid facilities of the South-Western branch of Kubanenergo PJSC  (Rosseti Group) are ready for cold weather conditions, the engineers have planned an inspection of 77 substations of 35-110kV in Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Abinsk and Krymsk districts of the region.

They are planning to overhaul three substations as well. “Novorossiyskaya”, “Fyodorovskaya” and “Nikotinskaya” substations providing  electricity supply  to  over 27 thousand consumers and 30 social facilities.

Stanislav Moskalenko, chief engineer of the South-Western branch, emphasized:  “The South-Western district is rated a district with peculiar weather conditions.  That is why in the depth of summer we are getting our equipment ready for winter. Everything goes according to plan.”

It is also planned to repair particular elements of the main grid equipment, precisely disconnecting devices, switches and transformer – in total 82 devices. 35kV outdoor switch gear will be modernized and two transformers of 6.5kVA will undergo maintenance. The branch plans to spend 5.9 million rubles on this project.
