Starting this year employees of “Kubanenergo” PJSC (Rosseti group) have cleared about 9 hectares of tress and vegetation near 110kV overhead power lines: “Psebai – Kudzhinovo”, “Shovgenovskaya – Armavir”, “Zassovskaya – Upornaya” and “traction susbation Kurgannaya – Rodnikovaya” in Labinsk district.

Stable operation of these grid facilities ensures power supply to 34 thousand consumers and 35 facilities of social importance in 14 settlements of Labinsk, Kurganinsk and Mostovskoy districts.

Pavel Khripko, head of 35kV power lines unit at branch of Kubanenergo in Labinsk, said: “We were working on hard-to-reach area, so we had to trim the trees and clear the area from vegetation manually using petrol chainsaws. The special vehicles just couldn’t get there. By the end of the summer we’ll have 7 power lines cleared. In total under the repair programme it is planned to clear 19.4 hectares.”

Scrupulous preparation of power facilities in the summer shall reduce to minimum the amount of technological faults in winter season and ensure reliable supply of electricity in Labinsk, Kurganinsk and Mostovskoy districts.
