Teams of Ust-Labinsky branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) have accomplished overhaul of 0.4kV overhead power lines in Zissermanovsky village, Tbilissky district.

The repair programme included replacement of 10 poles of 0.4lV power lines, 3.2 kilometres of wire and 235 service points on houses. The company used a new type of conductor – self-supporting insulated conductor.

Sergey Danilchenko, head of distribution station service department, said: “When we started using self-supporting insulated conductor for power lines, it completely changed the whole process of designing, constructing and servicing the power lines. It allowed us to increase level of mechanization of works, reduce costs of servicing the lines, increase their service life up to 30-40 years, enhance reliability of power supply.”

In total, Ust-Labinsky branch plans to replace 7 kilometres of 0.4kV wires with self-supporting insulated conductor in 2016.
