Power industry specialists, local authorities, law enforcement agencies and large manufacturers of Slavyansky district of the Krasnodar region joined forces to fight against theft of electricity and simultaneously introduce modern metering devices.  These were the main topics of roundtable discussion devoted to issues of power supply.

Representatives of local government, law enforcement agencies, educational institutions,   territorial public self-government, homeowners association, heads of large development companies and agricultural enterprises gathered together to discuss the power supply. Particular attention was paid to electric energy metering.

All participants agreed that imposing a greater liability on illegal electricity usage is a well-timed and fair measure. Installation of smart meters can help control electricity consumption and save customers’ money. Employees of Slavyansky branch of Kubanenergo PJSC stressed the necessity of preventing electric injuries and revealing the facts of energy stealing.

Evgeniy Rud, head of the branch said: “Only by joining forces we can promptly solve the existing issues and make power consumption safe and qualitative”.

Alexandr Berseniev, deputy head of Slavyansky district said: “such dialogues like we’ve had today gives us firsthand information on existing problems. It means our further measures and actions will be more efficient.”
