Kubanenergo set about to repair four substations in Krasnodar district

Specialists of the Krasnodar branch of “Kubanenergo” PJSC (“Rossetti” group) started to repair work on four major substations in Krasnodar and its suburbs, Goryacheklyuchevskoy and Dinskoy districts.

Overhaul of the main and auxiliary equipment is carried out at substations “Saratovskaya” in Goryacheklyuchevskoy district, “Agronomt-2” in Dinskoy district, as well as substations “Oxygen Factory” and “RIP” in Krasnodar. These energy facilities are crucial feeding centers for 110 thousand people and 119 social facilities in Krasnodar and nine villages.

The repair programme includes a range of technical measures, including repair of hundreds of oil and vacuum circuit breakers and 20 disconnectors of different voltage class, adjustment of relay protection and automation devices.

In total, repair programme of Kubanenergo presupposes overhaul of 12 high-voltage substations and 36 transformer substations of low voltage in the area of ??responsibility of the Krasnodar branch of the company. The total length of transmission lines of 35-110 kV, which are included in the plan of repair programme in 2016, is about 170 km.

Vladimir Mikhailov, director of the branch of “Kubanenergo” PJSC Krasnodar Electric Networks said: “The period of repair works is a very challenging time for the power industry. Much work needs to be done in a short period of time: to carry out maintenance works on electrical equipment, train staff, conduct necessary training so that in the period of peak loads the company will manage to provide uninterrupted power supply to consumers.”
