Engineers of Krasnodarskiye electric grids, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) will overhaul 13 high voltage power lines. This project will help ensure 200 socially significant facilities and over 150 thousand local customers continue to receive a reliable power supply.

According to the plan of the Repair programme 2016, the total length of 35-110kV power lines, which are to be repaired in the responsibility area of Krasnodarskiye electric grids, is about 170 kilometers. During the overhaul our engineers plan to replace 50 poles, 2 thousand isolators and 550 sets of transmission line hardware.

Also vegetation and tress near power lines will be trimmed.  As specialists say, the main cause of short circuits and wire breakage are fallen trees and large branches during severe weather conditions, like, storm-wind, lightning storm and snow accretion on overhead wires. That is tree and vegetation clearance programme should not be underestimated.

Vladimir Mikhailov, head of Krasnodarskiye electric grids, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC, said: “This year we have important goals to achieve and successful completion of repair programme will require maximum efforts from us. In March starts the active phase of the repair programme 2016 and it will be finished in October, so that all the planned works aimed at enhancing quality of power supply will have been finished by the start of autumn-winter season.”
