Power engineers of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) have completed thermovision inspections on 33 high-voltage transmission lines of 35-110kV across five districts of responsibility area of the South-Western electric grids (Abinsky, Krymsky, ANapsky, Gelendzhiksky and Novorossyisky districts of Krasnodar region).

In 2015 the branch inspected 35-110kV power lines which deliver electricity to over 360 thousand consumers. Our specialists had to walk to power to inspect them as mostly the lines are located far in the mountains unreachable by motor transport.

Thermovision inspection is a modern type of diagnostics, a device serving to detect potential problems on wires related to overheating at junctions. By the results of such scanning specialists prepare and implement a whole range of activities for elimination of the defects revealed.
