In accordance with Repair programme 2015, specialists of Krasnodar branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti group) have recently commenced overhaul of 110kV transmission line “Afipskaya – Shendzhiy – Martanskaya”. Proper operation of the transmission line ensures power supply to 100 socially important facilities in Severskiy and Goryacheklyuchevskoy districts of Krasnodar region and Teuzhskiy district of the Republic of Adygea.

By the mid-August the maintenance crew of Krasnodarskiye electric networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC, will have replaced 40 pylons and 12 kilometres of cable and install new insulators made of tempered glass. The main feature of such insulators is that they have a greater insulating efficiency, enhanced mechanical integrity, thermal resistance, environmental stability. Any defects in glass insulators can be detected visually without using special diagnostic devices, therefore, the company reduces maintenance costs and provides well-timed repair. Apart from that, special clearing teams will cut and trim trees and vegetation planted underneath or near the electricity network.

- A timely performed range of activities shall ensure reliable operation of grid equipment during the forthcoming autumn-winter season, it will also reduce the possible disturbances in operation of one of the most important transit lines of Krasnodar region and the Republic of Adygea, said Evgeniy Rud, head of Krasnodarskiye electric networks, branch of Kubanenergo PJSC.

The 60 km long transmission line “Afipskaya – Shendzhiy – Martanskaya” is a part of transit line from substation 220kV “Afipskaya” to hydro-electric power station “Belorechenskaya”.
