Specialists of Kubanenergo (Rosseti group) commenced the construction of a substation control house at 110kV “Armavirskaya CHPP” substation in Armavir. This control centre will increase reliability of power supply to 90 thousand customers and 30 socially significant facilities. Remote control will enable engineers to monitor on-line the power equipment and gather information on the state of the equipment.

The substation control house will consist of 16 modular buildings. As of today we have laid foundation, installed four modules of the building.  After completion of construction works, our specialists plan to install digital protective relays and emergency control system as well as battery unit and communication and supervisory systems in the building of control centre.

Installation of modern fault recording systems enhances the efficiency of dispatch control system and makes it easier to locate the line fault.

Construction of a new dispatch centre is the first stage of modernization 110kV “Armavirskaya CHPP” substation. The next stage involves modernization of outdoor switchgears, replacement of oil circuit breakers, transformers and other equipment.

110kV “Armavirskaya CHPP” substation is the key power facility and it provides transit of electricity from the main substation “Armavir 330” and delivers power to all large substations of Armavir – “Yuzhnaya”, Rechnaya“, “MZhK, etc. Thanks to modernization works the reliability of power supply to 90 thousand customers and 30 facilities of public use will be significantly increased.
