Specialists of Adygea branch of Kubanenergo (Rosseti group) will install around 1.5 thousand modern energy metering devices to reduce technical and commercial losses of electric energy in distribution networks and enhance efficiency of energy metering.

Smart meters “РиМ 189.04” measure active and reactive power in single phase double wire electric networks, they are also used for remote connection or disconnection of a customer. These meters are multi-rate meters and have a built-in rater. They are read remotely, the data on energy consumption is transferred to the server. Another advantage of such meters is that they protect from voltage change, short circuits and save electric energy.

Around 300 energy meters have been already installed in Kazenno-Kuzhorsky village of Koshekhablsky district, further works will continue in Kamenomostsky and Kuzhorsky villages of Maikop disitrct, Blechepsin and Khodz village of Koshekhablsky district, and in Khatukhai village of Krasnogvardeisky district, Adygea Republic.

Apart from installing new electricity meters, our specialist will replace service entrance wires with self-supporting insulated wire. This wire requires lower operating costs, provides high security service, reduces risk of theft of electricity and also eliminates the possibility of short circuit and fire hazard in case of wire breakage.

Installation of new energy meters and replacement of service entrance wires is implemented under the Programme of Kubanenergo on energy saving and enhancing energy efficiency.
