To provide reliable power supply to homes and businesses in Novorossiysk and its suburbs, specialists of Kubanenergo (Russian Grids group of companies) modernizes main substations of the district – high-voltage substation “RIP”, “NovoRes”, “North-Western” and “Rayevskaya”.

Recently at 100kV “RIP” substation our specialists have replaced old power transformer with 40MVA power transformer, they have also replaced transformers at “North-Western” and “Rayevskaya” substations. At 110kV “NovoRes” substation it is planned to install modern and reliable equipment, which particular features are safety in operation and small size.

Increase of capacity and installation of new equipment will greatly enhance reliability of power supply to consumers and help provide connection of new premises of Novorossiysk to grids of Kubanenergo; among such premises are shopping centres, residential clusters, etc

- Kubanenergo plans to invest in grids of Novorossiysk as today it is one of the major districts of Krasnodar region due to brisk growth of transport and trade infrastructure, said Dmitriy Golovakha, head of South-Western grids, branch of Kubanenergo. Individual and industrial constriction is growing rapid in both urban area and in suburbs. This leads of growth in demand in grids of 35-110kV located in responsibility area of the branch.

Implementation of such works and activities will augment capacity of power equipment, prevent disturbances and ensure uninterrupted and qualitative electricity supply to citizens of Hero City Novorossiysk and its suburbs.
