Starting this year to fulfill the contracts on technological connection and increase of connected capacity of consumers regarded as subsidized households, Adygeiskiy branch of Kubanenergo JSC (Russian Grids group of companies) has constructed and modernized three transformer stations and 7 power lines of 0.4-10kV in Maykopsky district of the Republic of Adygea.

When installing overhead power lines engineers of Kubanenergo JSC used self-supporting insulated wire of type “Niled”. Such wire eliminated the occurrence of short circuit and unauthorized consumption, thus ensuring reliable and safe power supply and reducing risks of injuries from current. Hi-tech modern transformer stations are equipped with all necessary for safe operation devices, like protective earthing, surge protector, relay protection and lightning conductor.

The works were performed in Dagestanskaya, Kurdzhipskaya, Tulsky, Sovkhozniy and Udobniy villages. Apart from prompt connection of applicants these activities have also enhanced reliability of power supply of distribution equipment.
