Alexandr Gavrilov, director general of Kubanenergo was awarded with second class badge “For contribution to development of Russian Railways”. The president of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin solemnly awarded the head of Kubanenergo on 30 Arch 2015 in Moscow, headquarters of RZhD.

The badge “For contribution to development of Russian Railways” is a corporate award and is given to persons that made a great contribution to development and provision of reliable operation, settlement of tasks and social issues in branches and subdivisions of RZhD JSC.

The president of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin thanked Alexnadr Gavrilov for huge personal contribution to development and provision of sustainable operation of open joint stock company Russian Railways, for longstanding and efficient collaboration of engineers of Kubanenergo and railwaymen.

Kubanenergo, as the largest distribution grid company of the south of Russia, has provided in the frameworks of cooperation with RZhD technological connection of several large installations of North-Caucasus railways, ensuring by this qualitative and reliable power supply.

In 2013, for instance, when preparing to Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi Kubanenergo connected to its grids an important feeding centre – 110kV substation “Imeretinskiy kurort - railway substation”. This substation was constructed by RZhD JSC for power supply of one of Olympic venues –highway and railway from Adler to mountain climate resort “Alpika-Servis” in accordance with programme of Olympic venues construction and development of Sochi as mountain and climatic resort.

Then in 2014 Kubanenergo constructed and commissioned 110kV substation “Sukhoy port” in Krymsky district of Krasnodar region, this substation made possible to connect and provide reliable power supply infrastructure of North-Caucasus railways, as well as created conditions for further development.
