Kubanenergo proved compliance with international standards

Kubanenergo (part of Rosseti group of companies) proved compliance of its management system with international standards in the sphere of quality management, environmental management, operational safety and health. Such conclusion was made by SGS after the certification audit.

Recertification audit of integrated management system was carried out in executive body of Kubanenergo and at its three branches (Sochinskiye, Timashevskiye and Ust-Labinskiye electric grid). The audit team has assessed the correspondence of Company’s management systems to requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2008 “Quality management systems — Requirements”, ISO 14001 Environmental management systems—Requirements with guidance for use, OHSAS 18001:2007 Requirements for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

This audit was carried out in order to prove that management meets all requirements of the standard, that the company has successfully introduced and planned the management system and is able to reach the goals set by the policy of the organization.

By the results of the audit the certification body of SGS approved that the management system of Kubanenergo JSC corresponds to requirements of international standards, effectively functions, is a customer-centric organization and strives to provide reliable operation of grid facilities of Krasnodar region and the Republic of Adygea.

- This is the third time Kubanenergo is assessed by SGS, the first one was carried out six year ago and since then the company continued to gradually develop its management system, said Konstantin Timoshechkin, head of department for certification of systems and services in Eastern Europe SGS. – Use of modern technologies, system approach to personnel training and well-coordinated work contribute to efficient quality management system, environment protection and occupation safety. As an example of efficient management system we could mention uninterrupted power supply during Winter Olympics in Sochi 2014.
