Overhaul of 44 overhead lines of 6-10-0.4kV was carried out by Tikhoretskiy branch of Kubanenergo (Rosseti JSC group) under the repair programme 2014. The work was performed in Tikhoretskiy, Pavlovskiy, Krylovskoy, Beloglinskiy and Novopokrovskiy districts of Krasnodar region. The total length of repaired distribution network amounted about 50 kilometers. Engineers have replaced almost 500 pylons, over 2000 insulators and about 120 kilometers of wire; they have also repaired more than 50 transformer stations, trimmed trees and cut shrubs along the overhead line routes of about 860 hectares. For higher quality of power supply to houses and businesses 1700 outdated branch lines to houses were replaced with the new self-supporting insulated wire of total length 34 km. Use of such wire reduced the risk of injuries among residents in case the safety rules near electrical installations are not observed and it also essentially eliminates the unauthorized connection to the grid. All the activities carried out under the repair programme of Kubanenergo for 2014 will help prevent technological disturbances and provide reliable and efficient supply of electricity to rural residents of five districts of Krasnodar region.
