Repair teams of Kubanenergo JSC (part of Russian Grids group) started a scheduled repair campaign in Armavirskiy power district. Specialists of Kubanenergo branch Armavirskiye electric grids are repairing HV equipment of 35kV substations Konokovo and Steblitskaya.
By April, it is planned to overhaul 22 oil-insulated switches of 10 and 35kV, 44 disconnectors of 10 and 35kV at these substations. Such activities will provide reliable power supply for more than 20 thousand consumers from seven settlements of Uspenskiy and Novokubanskiy districts.
The Repair Programme 2014 on the responsibility area of Armavirskiye electric grids includes overhaul of twelve 35-110kV substations, repair of equipment on transformer stations of 6-10/0.4KV, replacement and recovery of about 50km of overhead protection cable on 35-110kV line and replacement of more than 3500 insulators on 0.4-10kV and 35-110kV power lines.
“Particular attention is paid to clearance and extension of 0.4-10kV power lines routes in order to prevent wire break, because falling trees is the most frequent cause of technological faults. During 2014 it is planned to clear 1800 km of 0.4-10kV and 35-110kV power lines routes on the territory of Armavirskiy district”, says Rustam Magdeyev, director of Kubanenergo branch Armavirskiye electric grids.
Implementation of these activities stipulated by Repair Programme will enhance reliability of operation of grid equipment in responsibility area of Kubanenergo branch Armavirskiye electric grids
