In the end of January this year, several districts of Krasnodar region and Adygeya Republic were exposed to the cyclone, which brought ice storm and strong wind to the south-west of the region. Glaze caused numbers of power disturbances in distribution grid complex. Within first 24 hours of emergency works our colleagues – emergency teams from neighbor regions arrived by the decision of Headquarters of grid complex of Russian Grids.

The emergency teams, lines service and grid maintenance teams were equipped with all necessary equipment, vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, diesel power plants to connect buildings of social importance.

In total more than 800 specialists that constitute 200 teams from group of companies Russian Grids JSC were involved in emergency and repair works, as well as 160 units of special machinery, including all-terrain vehicles.

 Professionalism, teamwork and team spirit helped our specialists to recover energy supply in Krasnodar region and Adygeya Republic that was damaged by large-scale natural disaster, in the shortest period.
