Under the programme of reducing losses of electric energy employees of Kubanenergo JSC (part of Russian Grids group) have checked devices and schemes for electricity metering in Apsheronskiy and Belorechenskiy districts of Krasnodar region and  Maikopskiy, Giaginskiy, Shovgenovskiy, Koshekhablskiy and Krasnogvardeiskiy districts of Adygeya.

By the results of scheduled inspections and off-schedule raids branch of Kubanenergo Adygeiskiye electric grids took 187 formal notes of unauthorized and unaccounted consumption of electric energy (alternations to metering or connection to grid devices bypassing the electricity meter) with total volume of 2.5million kW*h. In the result of illegal activities the Company suffered loss exceeding 6 million rubles. 

On 105 lawbreakers voluntary compensated 1.2 million rubles. In other cases the debts will be claimed through the court.  

During these inspections specialists of Kubanenergo JSC remind the consumers that unauthorized energy consumption is considered as administrative offense and can lead to serious interruption in power supply to consumers and socially important facilities. Apart from it, by such actions violators put at risk health and life of people.
