Kubanenergo JSC (part of Russian Grids JSC) announced the start of annual competition “Innovation of the year”, which main aim is to introduce the new forms and methods of organizing production process in order to increase labour efficiency in all spheres of Company’s activity. 

 The competition will include 20 nominations. Any employee of the Company is free to produce the innovation-based solutions.  

 There will be several stages of the competition: first, the best projects will be selected from Company’s branches and head office. Then the jury of the competition guided by Alexandr Gavrilov, director general of Kubanenergo, will evaluate the projects and announce the winners, by tradit ion, at the eve of professional holiday - Power Engineers' Day.  

 For the last competition there were 42 projects presented and the most active participants were employees of Tikhoretskiye electric grids resulting with 12 projects.
