Tikhoretskiy branch of Kubanenergo proved the preparedness to autumn-winter season

Commission for checking the preparedness of Kubanenergo branches to autumn-winter season 2012-2013, consisting of technical inspection, production control inspection and occupational safety specialists from Kubanenergo and Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision, confirmed the readiness of Kubanenergo branch Tikhoretskiye electric grids to autumn-winter peak loads.  

In order to obtain the certificate admitting the branch to operation in conditions of low temperatures, the specialists of Kubanenergo JSC (part of Russian Grids JSC) carried out a number of technical and organization arrangements in Tikhoretskiy distribution zone.

Seven high-voltage substations “Trud”, “Pervomaiskaya”, “Shevchenko”, “Komsomolets”, “Belaya Glina”, “Pshenichnaya” and “Novoivanovskaya” were overhauled. These substations provide electric energy to 36 thousand consumers of Pavlovskiy, Krylovskoy, Beloglinniy and Novopokrovskiy districts of Krasnodar region.

Also seven overhead lines of 35 and 110kV and of total length 110km were repaired, more than 21 km of ground wire, 600 outdated insulators were replaced, our specialists also cleared about 21 hectares of line routes. These HV lines provide electric energy  to 46 thousand citizens of five districts.

Overhaul of distribution grids was performed under the annual schedule, which included the repair of 40km of wire, more than 40 transformer stations of 10/0.4kV, about 2 thousand insulatros were replaced, as well as 470 transmission towers and 100km of bare conductor   .

The staff has equipment for the personal and collective protection of employees, emergency fire-fighting equipment legal documentation, instructions, regulations, schemes and data on current loads on power lines and equipment.

Thus, the commission summed up that Tikhoretskiye electric girds fulfilled all requirements necessary to obtain the certificate of preparedness to operation during autumn-winter season of 2013-2014.
